Our reputation as trusted Australian accountants and consultants goes back to 1922, when Robert Nielson and Geoffrey Wheeler shook hands in Sydney and founded Nelson Wheeler.

Nielson’s Swedish surname and connections gave the firm a strong entrée for Swedish companies setting up in Australia and opened the door for the likes of Saab, IKEA, Luxor, Scania, ASEA, Linden-Alimak and the Swedish Australian Chamber of Commerce.

The firm expanded and served many other companies, including the St. George Building Society, AGL, RESI Building Society, Bank of Melbourne, etc. With this collection of clients, Nelson Wheeler became a top 6 firm throughout the 1980s and 90s in Australia.

Nelson Wheeler was keen to protect its heritage and keep the name alive even though it went through several mergers over the 1990s and early 2000s.

Today our objective is to penetrate the Australian business world through our network of accounting firms, stretching from Queensland to Victoria.
